FAQ about Events:

Q1: Who can attend Level 2 Training Workshops (modules)?

All advanced Kundalini Yoga practitioners can attend Training Workshops. Attendance is NOT limited to persons who have, or are studying for Level 1 certification. Those without certification can ask for a recommendation from their Kundalini Yoga Teacher. People who wish to attend should know the basics of Kundalini Yoga, should have attended classes, and have a relationship with the Kundalini Yoga teachings.

Q2: In case a person is not yet Level 1 certified, can attendance of a Level 2 Workshop (module) be credited to the Level 2 Training Program after graduating Level 1?

Yes. Completion of a Level 2 Workshop (module) can be credited to the Level 2 Training Program, regardless if at the moment of completing the module, the person is enrolled in a Level 1 or Level 2 program.
* The period that this credit remains valid is untested (undecided).

Q3: Can attendance of the Level 2 Workshops (modules) be credited to the Workshops as required for the Level 1 Program?

Yes.

Q4: Who can attend the Retreats?

The retreats are open to everyone, also to beginners.

Q5: Can attendance of the Retreats be credited to the workshops required for the Level 1 Teacher Training?

Yes, at least within the requirements set for the KRI Asia Teacher Certification Program.

Q6: Can attendance of the Public Workshops be credited to the workshops required for the Level 1 Teacher Training?

No, the Public Workshops are not intended for accreditation in the teacher programs, and more aimed at the general public.

Q7: Can the attendance fees for the ‘Retreats’, or the ‘Public Workshops’, or the ‘Level 2 Training Workshops (modules)’, be credited towards the funds reserved for attending workshops, as included in the Level 1 Training Program Fees? (relates to Q5 and Q6 above)?

The teaching fees for the ‘Retreats’ with Sunder Singh Khalsa, can be allocated from the Level 1 fees, but only for the amounts as defined. This excludes the admin or additional fees associated with any event, and applies only to student-teachers as enrolled in the Level 1 Program

The teaching fees for ‘Level 2 Teacher Training’ is applicable. Teaching fees can be allocated from the Level 1 fees, but only for the amounts defined. As above, this excludes the admin or additional fees associated with any event, and applies only to student-teachers as enrolled in the Level 1 Program.

The ‘Public Workshops’ are not applicable, and do not meet the Level 1 requirements for ‘Retreat’ attendance.

Q8: As there are financial constraints for some people to attend the events in Bangkok, such as travel costs, is there any special assistance or scholarship ot help people attend the workshop?

The events are very reasonably priced and the cost for the Level 2 Modules is low. For most countries the difference can cover to a large extent the additional travel costs. At this point in time, Kundalini Yoga programs in different countries are suggested to look into ways of how to support interested practitioners with financial limitations.
